Jimmy Frizzell RIP

I saw him play for Oldham in the early 60's and he was a very brave goalscoring inside forward. A good manager at Oldham after he retired and he did a good job at City under difficult circumstances. RIP Frizz - it's a pity there aren't more of your kind in the game today.

Jimmy gave youth a fling at City (not that he had much choice) and gave the FA Youth Cup winning team of 1986 a chance. He also bought Paul Stewart to the club too.
RIP Jimmy.

RIP, met him and his wife (I assume) when I was a teenager and he came over as kind and decent.

His wiki page has him being sacked in 1987, he didn't he became General Manager then as most over 35 will know.
