João Palhinha

Phillips came here for that and has five medals in 18 months. More of a contribution perhaps from other examples. Ortega and Caballero played in finals at Wembley. Zinchenko played a CL final despite being the second choice left back. Akanji isn't in our strongest XI for me and yet he displaced Walker and played a decisive role in a CL final. He's already settled in the UK, I can definitely see how there'd be an attraction.
The problem for Phillips is that in my opinion he can only really play 1 position & Pep has better options in the position that other teams call left fullback. Phillips wouldnt have the same chance as Delph did to play there, where as Zinc is an attacking midfielder by trade & Akanji has played all across the back four.

I've been impressed whenever I've seen him for Fulham but wouldn't we have the same problem with Palhinha

If Paulinha does move to Bayern, they will look to offload someone and Tuchel doesn’t particularly like Kimmich.

Highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
Still don't see it. We did loan them Cancelo but they didn't take up their option and I doubt they will replicate it either.

Not sure any club would pay £60m for Cancelo these days.

This would be totally separate and would depend on their finances and whether they wanted rid of Kimmich.

I doubt it’d happen, but I feel it more likely than Paulinha coming.

See we’ve had a few links to Neto today? Didn’t realize he was only 23!

I've seen a few reports of our interest in him too. A swap with Nunes?

I also thought Pedro Neto was older. A brilliant player, but one who's injury prone. He's had nearly 500 days out through injury since 2020.

I suppose one positive is they're not recurring problems. We bought Gundog injured & fixed him, so perhaps we have the technology to rebuild Neto?

Not sure Wolves would want a player, who went on strike a few months ago to leave them, back.
