Just watching the tribute to Denis Law and after he finished playing he became a carpet salesman. Just thinking what would be a suitable job for current players when they hang up their boots?

Garnacho can be in a new Addams Family movie.

People forget just how little footballers got paid back in the day. Today, 1 year of a good contract in the PL can set you up for life, yet back in the day you had to have a business up and running before you retired to keep the readies rolling in.

Buzzer had a clothing (shirts) business.
Franny had his paper goods.
King Colin had the restaurant.

I’m sure there were plenty with other businesses, but truth be told, most footballers are thick as a plank and need guidance on managing their money affairs.

George Heslop was a publican at "The City Gates " on Hyde Rd back in the 1980s.
It was demolished a long time ago.
