Wouldn't mind him as competition for Ireland. If he leaves Chelsea to get 1st team football ina World Cup year I doubt we'd be first choice though.

It's been reported that Abramovich promised Terry that he'd make some marquee signings to show his commitment to Chelsea, so apparently they have Pirlo, Aguero and Ribery on their radar and are ready to battle it out with Utd with a £100M war-chest!!

Where this leaves Essien, Obi Mikel, Cole etc remains to be seen......

We already have 2 forwards that are constantly injured. As good as he is its not much use if hes on the treatment table for most of the season.
