Joe Hart (continued)

thought he was great last night. distribution was pinpoint everytime to a city player, even when it looked like no options were available. some "fans" need to give their head a wobble

Whilst I stil believe he is a very very good keeper his distribution most certainly wasnt pinpoint every time, 3 times in the first half knocked dead balls down Pique's throat when Negredo was stood 10-15 yards away next to Mascherano.

Penalty you can do fuck all about (although I cant remember off the top of my head him ever saving 1 for us) but the 2nd goal there is absolutely no need to come out, the angle Alves is at when he reaches the ball there is no chance whatsoever of him putting it in the net if Joe is stood on his line.

hindsight. a player comes at you, you close them down and make his angle smaller. he did the right bloody thing except close his legs. that goal is no fault of his. and his passing was class. Instead of finding blame support your club

Penalty saves include Chelsea at home (vs Lampard) Swansea away, two versus Mytiland (or whatever they were called) in the penalty shoot out and at least one other.

Joe did OK last night and it was a good finish by Alves. When Joe rushed his distribution it tended to go to a Barca player. Joe is on a decent run of form now and looks to have got over his poor start to the season

I remember when goalies used to be able to shout at what they wanted. His position for the second was a joke. Good no 2 bit nowhere near top class as yet.

What? He narrowed the angle by coming out and was in the middle of his goal? He tried to make himself as big as possible which invariably means leaving a gap between your legs. If he'd have kept his legs together Alves would have just rolled the ball to the side of him. He did nothing wrong.

Whatever it is it isnt working
I disagree, it's working far too well.

Everybody has a different viewpoint on who should be goal but for me its not Hart and can;t understand why Penti has been sent back to the bench and wonder had he been in goal last night would he had saved Barcers second which look an easy enough shot to deal with.

Also had Penti had a proper chance to claim the number 1 jersey it may have saved City looking at other goalkeepers because as long as Hart remains in goal progress will not be made and he may cost this present manager his job?why because if the trophys don,t start to appear Pellagrini will disappear just like Mancini.
