Joe Hart/England 'Fans'

In the less-biased Canadian media he generally thought to have been England's best player at the Euro.

They only negative thing about him is sometimes he is a little slow at getting the ball out. Sometimes he slows the game down when there an easy throw out. All that I can live with because he does his main job deceent enough and kept both us and England in games. To me he's the best in the world at the moment no question.

Hart is easily the best in England and one of the best in the world. No doubt about it for me. Yes he makes mistakes sometimes, every player does. The problem is that when a keeper makes a mistake it is noticed a lot more.

He's been truly awful as usual. We need that brilliant Rob Green bloke inbetween the sticks instead.

Top 5. Good enough for city or England, but I don't think he's done enough in his career (yet) to be characterised as the best around. But one big performance in one big game might be all it takes. If he gets through that hypothetical vs Germany penalty shoot out, that'd establish his legend without question. I hope he winds up getting that chance to shine tbh, if my nerves don't fancy it so much...

Joe seems to have become the main face of the England squad. He fronts official interviews more than Gerrard. What I like about Joe is even if he makes mistakes (which he has) then you trust him not to affect the rest of his performance. Class.

It still hurts him.

journo on five live last night saying how good he is with the media, which lead onto Pat Nevin saying that his save against Ukraine has been the save of the tournament - the shot from distance that he had 2 hands out to catch, which then dipped and swerved at the very last moment and he had to get a left glove on - I was raving on at the time just how brilliant I thought it was

Considering how many good up and coming keepers England have tried over the last few years, all of whom have dropped clangers when on the big stage - shows that Joe is on another level all together.
