I agree Joe has proved an excellent servant but he has weaknesses in his game and appears to be a difficult character to handle and for those reasons Pep quite rightly has called time. He needs to stay at the club, fight for his place and prove himself to pep. If by Jan he still isn't getting anywhere then fair play let him go. He's a hero at city and selling him is like selling the heart of the club! We need people who are passionate about us like he is. It's put me off Pep a bit, there's no need to make an example of a great clubman just to show you're the boss!
Who? Buffon or Given?
Hart is rated as one of the best keepers in the world by his peers. Buffon is on record has saying Hart is in the top five and his ability to make one-on-one saves is second to no one. Not just Keepers either Messi and Iniesta are also on record saying Hart is a fantastic keeper.
That's not the issue though - It's how well he can pass with his feet that is the issue for Pep. It is an essential part of his game plan to pass out from the back.

Strange though that a top 5 keeper won't get an offer from a top 5 club. As it seems. We'll see.
Anyhow, we are argueing about his ranking, but I've never seen a current keeper ranking top 10 world.
Anybody? Is there some 'official' ranking? Maybe it would even be interesting to see a personal view of some keepers experts on here.

I'm a big Joe Hart fan and think he has been an amazing player for us on our recent journey. I would like to know what's actually gone on and maybe one day we will.
However - it's Pep's call and he's made it very quickly and decisively.
But -this only work if we get a better keeper in soon - if we don't then there's no way in my view that Willy will save us as many points as Joe
