He needs to stay at the club, fight for his place and prove himself to pep. If by Jan he still isn't getting anywhere then fair play let him go. He's a hero at city and selling him is like selling the heart of the club! We need people who are passionate about us like he is. It's put me off Pep a bit, there's no need to make an example of a great clubman just to show you're the boss!

Not a chance I would sign that, and no right mided blue should. Hart has been a good servant of the club, but City was here before him and will carry on after he's gone, if the manager has decided he wants to change it and the chairman is willing to let him then you back the club in my opinion.

Many an exceptional players that have been gotten rid of stupidly in the past that has been worth a protest when we had managers who had earnt getting stick (ball selling TC for example) Joe is far from this

I dont think he is far from it at all. All he has to do is sppend a year learning to play with his feet comfortable, if he stayed and learnt it would be the best option overall. His shot stopping is 2nd to none in the prem, it is just his sweeperkeeper skills he needs to learn.

IIRC he tried the sweeper keeper approach a couple of seasons ago and got panned for dashing from the box too much. No wonder he doesn't fancy it.

Im happy for Pep to decide who our keeper is

Sorry for the Joe Hart fans on here, but he;s the boss (and I hope for a long time)

That wasn't my point, are we going to have a petition every time someone sees their arse when we sell someone?

The whole thing is getting ridiculous, if pep wants him to stay he stays if not he goes, this thread (to a point) and people starting petitions ain't gonna change that and gives fodder to the media trolls of our press. If anyone is that arsed do what the italians do and barricade the front entrance.

I would be happy for hart to stay btw if that was the clubs position, he has been a good servant and my comment isn't a slight on any poster, but the way this episode has progressed

You clearly didn't listen to it properly then. Cheesy made it quite clear that he didn't like interviewing Hart, that he'd seen a change in him for the worse since he was a young player and that from what he'd seen, he didn't particularly like him as a person. It really could not have been much clearer.

As for my stance on Hart, I've made that clear many times. I believe he's an excellent shot stopper when one-to-one but he has significant weaknesses that he doesn't feel the need or gave the capability to address. But I didn't see replacing him as being a high priority.

I am informed by a friend of a friend that Hart is quite thick.

Amazing to see how he has gone from public enemy number one in the media after the Euros to being one of the worlds best keepers and a victim of Pep and City's evil empire.
