There's more room in teams for our field players though. Keepers a set position. All the clubs that could match Joe wage are set in that position

He was just a good keeper who did a good job for us.

And that is all that needs to be said, slating him at every opportunity and then pretending he wasn't or still is a good keeper is not really needed, if it is needed it would need mentioning once not time and time again by the same posters who are seemingly overjoyed to slag off a player that should be in the legend class after 10 years, you would think he was Simon Tracey the way some posters have described his abilities, this and this alone is what gets up other posters noses and elicits the responses that posts like that deserve.

I really do understand where you are coming from Karen, but we should remember Joe for all he has done for us and leave it at that, just say he plays tonight and drops a clanger?? is that how youd like to remember him ?? He could have a blinder who knows. sometimes its best not to find out.

I will remember him on the days we won the titles and cups but i see what you mean lovely
