Torino and City fans have a lot of good history and respect. Nice to see our legend go there, will strengthen bonds further.

I think it stems from the fact that Torino suffered their own air disaster but never once sought to use it to promote the club and cash in on it. Unlike our shameless, money grubbing neighbours.
@Lucky Toma got his username from a player who was supposed to be on the flight but was out of the squad due to a minor knee injury.

He has a 3 year contract still and just wanted a loan so we had to cough up,fair enough
Legally, I'm sure it's 100% rock solid. But, to me, it's taking the piss. We're letting another club have one of our players on loan, and we're paying nearly two thirds of his wages while he's out there? It's not Joe I've got the problem with (if that's the salary that's in his contract, so be it). It's the fact that another club is benefitting from him playing for them, and we're paying for the privilege. If they want his expertise without actually buying him, is it too much to expect that they pay his wages while he's turning out FOR THEM?

The problem is his wages but he is being pushed out and is right not to lower his wages,we want him gone he only wants a years loan so we have to cough up,serves us right for forcing him out,i have no sympathy with the club i'm afraid

I'm gonna take a guess and say 50k a week for a keeper in Serie A is quite high, people need to understand wages here are crazy compared to most of Europe. Still no loan fee either makes it seem like a good deal for them, I'm surprised no better offers came in but the rumors that he was told to look for another club happened very late in the window.

Torino always seem to have pretty decent kits, other than that I don't know much about the club.

Not sure where all these figures come from , apparently Joe earns £150k a week and we are paying £90k of his wages to play for Torino , the positives are we will save £60k a week , and he just might develop his passing game playing in Italy , come back next season and challenge Bravo for the goalkeepers jersey . We all know the media love to make mugs out of us ,but just maybe this could turn out well for the club and the player.
