It was because of City that he fell behind Adrian at West Ham. When Hart couldn't play against us and Adrian played amazingly(ignore the time wasting) against us and made loads of saves so Moyes gave him a chance and here we are.

whilst Ederson in no doubt the better choice for the way we play now, he's not a better goalkeeper than Hart, put the two in a 1 on 1 situation and I'd back Hart every time, similarly in terms of shot stopping (with the caveat about low left obviously).

It's horses for courses, Joe couldn't or wouldn't adapt to Peps way, so he had to go, doesn't deserve the shit he gets though

What you're trying to say is that Pickford, Pope, Butland and Adrian are all miles better than Ederson, since the first 3 got a call-up over Hart and the latter starts over him at West Ham. Incredible.

what the Flook! Take off your blue tinted specs mate, Hart is a busted flush, and Guardiola knew that way before he became manager.

There's also the delicious irony in that Ederson, a keeper brought in to play it short, has the record for the longest kick.

It's impossible to have watched both players over the past two years and come to the conclusion that Joe is a better shot stopper than Ederson. It's not even close. Both stats and the eye test back this up extremely clearly.
