At Y/days game, who do you think Hart would have been, deep down, wanting to win??

Yes he is a professional and currently contratced to Brum, so in this case he probably was urging them to win.

However he now is probably 80/90% sure he will be returing to City next season, and may have a chance of playing CL football, and he knows that y/days game ws a must win for us.

So does the professional stance overwhelm the human nature..or is it the other way around?? Discuss...

I think he was probably sat there being seriously impressed with how we are playing and he cant wait to come back and join in the fun.

He will be back with us next season - Bobby has already hinted at this. If he's got his head screwed on he'll come back and battle it out with Shay for the No1 shirt. At some point he will get his chance next year with us - it's up to him to show what he can do when he get's the chance. It can only be good for us to have 2 quality keepers - will definitely keep Shay on his toes. Birmingham are not a bad team but if he wants to win things he's better of back at City even if it is initially as our 2nd choice.

Have a feeling he will be our number 1 next season.

Bobby Manc saying that Joe should be in the WC squad makes me think shay maybe on his way.

It's a tough one this situation because if we get Champs League we may need two good keepers, but Hart would be missing out on playing time. I'd rather Mancini be making the decision than me!

I can see Hart coming back and fighting for his place next season. The world cup will be over and if he doesn't play regularly in the first team it's not stopping him getting into the squad, as i do think providing we get champions league he could be very useful next season. Homegrown as well i think..?

He needs to go on loan to another premier league team for 1 more season! then come back and fight. shay will be 1 year older.... 1 yeaer slower potentially!!

it will do him more good playing another full season in the prem rather than sitting on the bench.

We could be playing 60 games next season if we go well in the cups. We could play Shay in 40 and Joe in 20. I'm sure Joe wouldn't want to throw away the opportunity to show Mancini what he could do and possibly regain the No.1 spot all to himself & I'm sure Shay wouldn't be throwing his toys out if the was left out for FA cup games for example. We've got 2 quality keepers on our books & we should be looking at ways of keeping both happy & keeping the strenghth of our squad at a maximum, especially as good cover for injury. I have nothing against Stuart Taylor as I've not seen enough of him but a long term injury to Shay during this season could have cost us dearly.

I really hope he gets another year on loan and another full year as a first choice premier league keeper. I really believe he will benefit far more than fighting for his place and the random cup/champions league game every now and them. He would come back and really challenge Shay for that #1 spot.
