Joe Hart

Deeeeeeecent.

Seriously though, excellent news. Now to give Kompany, Micah and De Jong the same.

Great news, tying our and England's number 1 down for the next five years, just great!

Glad to see the club are quite active with contracts, with the club meant to be in discussions with Kompany and De Jong, as well as Zabaleta having already signed a new contract. We don't want a Nasri situation :) .

Just going to post this...

New 5 year deal £90,000 a week...

Signing of the season so far....

We are kind of ruining football aren't we :-(

To be fair I'm just suprised they didn't report £200,000 a week followed by "De Jong, Micah Richards and Vincent Kompany have opted to boycott the club and have demanded £300,000 a week"

It's all very interesting though. I mean, 90k for Hart sounds about right. But what do you pay Kompany and De Jong? Surely it has to be 120-150k+? I'd be insulted if as captain and the most consistent player I was offered half of what the top 4 or 5 earners were on.

I'd pay De Jong the same as Hart, Richards £75,000 a week and Kompany £100,000-£110,000 a week.

Must get them all signed up! Surely micah, kompany, De Jong and hart are the spine for years to come.

Parity is a problem and the wage bill is going to shoot up again with Micah, Kompany, and De Jong all about to get bumper deals. But the club must know what its doing and have a way to cope with the huge wage bill (be easier if we can get Ade/RSC/Bellamy/Bridge out).

Lets just stick them all on minimum wage, see how they cope.

As for Hart, he was never the most grounded of players was he. We saw how he was when he got complacent last season, now with Given gone, and that much wage being thrown at him....God help us.

Sure lets just bring back Jo and throw him in goal, he'd do it for nothing. ;)

Seriously though, it's ridiculous money to be paying a 24 year old, hell anyone for that matter. Like I said, they've a piss easy job, minimum wage is the way to go.

If it's such a piss easy job why aren't me or you playing on Sunday for City then?
