If i recall correctly, back when he was rather unexpectedly made Newcastle manager @AntonDonJuan came on here to tell us in advance as his boss had heard and so a few of us were able to run off to bookies and make a few quid! I may have got the poster wrong as was long time ago.

Me too. Joe was a decent player, always busy. From his name I always imagined Knowles was some kind of toff. Probably nonsense.
