Doubt very much they could afford his wages. He'll end up staying with Newcastles until his contract runs out.
 
Tony Fernandes will spend a little bit of money to win the fans over. If Sir Joseph is available on a free then his wages over 2/3 seasons won't matter so much. Neil Warnock loves grafters.
 
Strange one. Not sure what is going on at Newcastle. Mike Ashley seems intent on ruining the club.
 
So after Barton spouts shit about "having 6 clubs fighting to sign him" all he gets is QPR. Nice one Joey!
 
Going for a medical now, still no contract offer from NUFC.......think that just about makes my mind up.

Will do well at QPR, lets hope they will link him up with Onouha and SWP.

Think it was 5% Willie rather than Barton that was going on about the 6 clubs.
 
Barton might have ambitions of Liverpool or Arsenal but if QPR have come in for him and Warnock said he'll build the midfield around him then he's going to sign. You go to the Club who wants you.
