Joey Barton

If you seriously think about it, someone sat this cretin down and interviewed him for a management position and gave it to him.

A man that still uses the term grass to describe another adult.
It was Bristol Rovers and they have a track record for incompetence

How this motherfucker lasted 5 years at city really does sum up how much of a basketcase club we were in the mid 2000's.

1. Cigar stub in teammate’s eye: In December 2004, Barton was at a Christmas party with his Manchester City teammates when he got angry at youth player Jamie Tandy for trying to set his shirt on fire. Barton retaliated by stubbing a lit cigar in Tandy’s eye, causing a burn injury. Barton was fined by the club and later sued by Tandy for damages. It’s worth noting that Joey Barton was dressed as the disgraced pervert Jimmy Saville at the time.

2. Mass brawl in pre-season friendly: In July 2004, Barton sparked a mass brawl during a pre-season friendly against Doncaster Rovers. Barton fouled Doncaster player Paul Green with a reckless tackle, which led to a 10-man melee between both teams. He was then on the receiving end of a hard tackle himself, and more fights broke out on the pitch. Barton was criticised by his manager Kevin Keegan for his overly physical approach.

3. Assaulting Ousmane Dabo: In May 2007, Barton assaulted his Manchester City teammate Ousmane Dabo during a training session. Barton punched Dabo several times, leaving him with a detached retina, a broken nose and severe bruising. Barton pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to a four-month suspended jail term and 200 hours of community service. He was also banned for six matches by the FA and sacked by Manchester City.

4. Jail sentence for street fight: In December 2007, Barton was involved in a street fight in Liverpool city centre after a night out. Barton punched one man 20 times and attacked another teenager, breaking his teeth. Barton was arrested and charged with assault and affray. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months in prison, of which he served 74 days.

And this was just when he was at City, theres been a whole mountain of shit thats happened since then. Horrible horrible individual.
