John Barnes sacked from Tranmere

He's always been a poor manager. I'm surprised anyone gives a him a job doing it.
 
I feel sorry for him. Tranmere apparently had a £1m budget for the season, all of it already spent by the time he got there.

All I was saying was, he doesn't come across as the type of arrogant manager that some out there may be. Then that leads to debate whether managers need to have a slight of arrogance about them to do the job correctly.

I think you will find he did very well with the Jamaica he guided them to a first-place finish in the 2008 Caribbean Championships, qualifying as the top Caribbean side for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
