John Bond 1932-2012

Sad news. Like everyone else, have very fond memories of Bondy and the side that went to Wembley - shame we couldn't handle that beardy twat from Spuds!

Fleetingly met him a couple of years ago at Windsor race course during a Monday night race meeting. Shook his hand and thanked him for that team. He seemed a bit taken aback (I know there is not a lot of love lost from some Blues in respect of him) and he was a gent.

RIP Bondy, as others have already said, thank you for giving us a small glimpse of the Promised Land.

R.I.P John and condolences to his family and friends, i was nine when he was appointed and that season and the next were magical...great memories.

Always sad when someone dies, especially if they're associated with City. So RIP and respect John Bond.

Always remember coming back in the car from an away game and listening to Sports Report where Stuart Hall said as part of his match report "There was John Bond, complete with Lady Di hairdo" .

John Bond did wonders at City.

RIP John and my best wishes to all his family and friends.

Some of our best rides and scale of victories in the Cup were under his stewardship.

R.I.P Mr. Bond

A Mr. 80's Gentleman n' Noble.
