Can’t remember much about this lad. How many games did he play mate?

Can’t remember much about this lad. How many games did he play mate?

Was given a debut by Brian Horton in January 1994 but appeared just 21 times due to a wretched run of injuries before leaving in 1998.

He used to live just off Plant Hill Road, opposite near where the Police Station was I think.

Met him a few year back with his missus, couldn't comprehend it when I said he was a decent player. Shown me his shoulder op, looked like he'd been butchered with a knife and fork, scar tissue was a mess.

Unfortunately, due to such an awful run with injuries and so many managerial changes John never got the chance to show or fulfil his talents

That was a great interview.
Think we all had high hopes for Foster, but injuries were the thing that held him back. Pity cos I think he'd have been very good for us.
Love his tale about how Quinn and Curle stood up for him when Ball had a go at him.
