Can see him playing Fernandinho in at the back as a make shift along side Deneyer if need be

Cheers mate....I know many wont agree with me but when you sign 6-7 attacking players over the summer and neglect such a big area of need, we asking for trouble....fingers crossed we get this sorted soon...CL knockout only 10 days away...

I fucking love Bony. Great guy, great player.

There, I said it.

Hope he goes to Everton, starts every game, gets 25 goals this season, leads them to the UCL and becomes a club legend with Everton fans chanting his name for a week after they lift the FA cup. Then gets named Captain and wins the ballon d'or, retires successfully at Barcelona having reached Messi-like status in ten years time, and dies happily at the age of 90 with his family around him. Nothing would make me happier than watching Bony score the winner against United in the FA cup final next season.

If he wants any chance of any of these things happening, he has to leave at some point in the next three weeks. Three weeks to save his career. Good luck to him.

There is a whiff of double standards isn't there about Everton's behaviour if reports are to be believed.

On the one hand they believe Stones to be a £50m player but pay him a salary significantly less than other players of his value.
They value Lukaku at >£70m and Bony at £15m. There is something not quite right there.

They are in a strong position and are utilising that position well in my opinion. The danger of course for them is that they are left with an unhappy player should we walk away.

I think you'll have to factor in the fact that they don't want to sell lukaku hence why he has such a big transfer fee on his head whereas Everton know we want to get rid of bony hence why they've labelled him at 15 mil

I think we will defend better as a team this season. Our defence was exposed a lot last season. All our centre backs have more natural ability that Lescott in my opinion, and he was part of arguably our best back 4 since the last golden era. Our Midfield shielded the back 4 brilliantly under RM

I felt this was much like Sterling's transfer last year; inevitable. The more this one drags on though the more I think we could walk away, which would be a shame to say the least as I would love this deal to happen.

With Otamendi and Mangala not travelling for tomorrow's game and Kompany unfit, CB isn't a well prepared position heading into the season. Glad he's getting time at Everton if it is to go through, hopefully by Friday if it does happen.
