Lets have it right people! City would not have made an approach (or a mockery of themselves) at all if they did not think there was AT LEAST a small chance of signing John Terry. I'm sure someone at City would have been notified (either via an agent or a private meeting) that there was a chance of getting the player.

I'm optimistic about Terry joining us and think we haven't heard the end on this one.

If this is gonna happen I think it will happen next week. Chelsea fly to the states next weekend and I can't believe they would go over there knowing their captain & Mr Chelsea is going to leave.

it's not a crime - but clearly by answering that question he may give us a clue as to who he is - which he doesnt want to do.

This JT speculation is a massive power-play between the 2 top men with the money - our owner and Chelsea's owner. I don't remember seeing anything like it before in the English game - can anyone else ?

The point of overstepping the mark would of been pressing him on more than 1 ocassion he told me he couldn't tell me and i respect that.

I wonder if this is true. Can anyone remember hearing about it at the time? I can't remember hearing it but I think it would be highly significant point.
