John Terry to leave Chelsea at end of season

Superb find especially Mrs Taylor's disco dancing.
Not much has changed except the bullring and more recently, the palisades.
Mrs Taylor's changed quite a bit, mate.

What a cock end this man is. "I dropped down a league because I can't stand the thought of playing against Chelsea."

John, you're not a Chelsea player anymore. Stop pandering to them. If I was a Villa fan, I'd be well fucked off. What if they get promoted? What if they draw them at Villa Park in the cup? Frank Lampard loved Chelsea just as much but is a professional and when required to play against them, did his job.

The problem of promotion is a made up problem. He only signed a 12 month contract. He was asked this question in the press conference, and he said he would cross that bridge when he gets there. Of course, being paired with Chelsea in the cup would be weird for him, but just like Lampard and Drogba, he will probably just get on with it and play. I think he plans on retiring after next season.

My point is that Villa's press conference to announce a new signing became a Terry/Chelsea love fest because of what he said. When asked the question, why say signing for Villa had anything to do with Chelsea? He should have simply said they made him a good offer and are a great club.

It didn't become a Chelsea love fest though. At least that's not how it came across to me. It really is a minor thing IMO. This seems like criticism for the sake of criticism.

He was asked specifically why he chose not to sign for a PL club, when he reportedly had a few offers there. He said he really didn't want to play against Chelsea. Hardly earth shattering stuff. Villa and their fans know he's a Chelsea man, and this is the first time in 22 years he won't be playing for Chelsea. They also know he will give his all for Villa while he is there. He was asked about Chelsea's chances next season and his answer was something like "I wish them the best, i'll support them from afar, but my focus is on Villa and helping this club get back to the PL", and this was the tone throughout the press conference.
