Seriously impressed if they did manage to move him on and out. Sends the right message to all players at all levels at the club that taking the piss will not be tolerated. 50,000 a week should not be subsidising his indiscipline.

IMO Danny S & Michael J have the making of a creative, dynamic & incisive strikeforce. Yes, we need to add to our squad, but what we have should be built on rather than scrapped. To sell them off for no money just because we can't man manage is ridiculous. FFS stop belittling the players we have got and have been proud of.

if he were at another club how much would you expect hughes to offer for someone with his injury record .
another point on youth, how many have the big 4 brought through to be regulars in the current team, if we see ourselves as a future top 4 club there is no place for sentiment.
