Johnson: should he play left or right?

Should Adam Johnson be playing left or right wing for us?

I have no doubt that if he was at Spurs or the rags, he would be a left-winger. But Mancini prefers to play narrow with Johnno cutting inside like Messi.

Where is he more effective?

For City, he's more effective at cutting into the box because we're mostly useless as headers and he's already won us penalties that way, and should have had one against Blackburn too. Added to that is that we've now got Kolarov who can whip a cross in and cut a defence open on the opposite flank. For that reason, I say get him on the right.

Right is best for Johnson, we need a proper left winger I would say and would suggest Eden Hazard (young, hungry, won't cost 30 mil yet), as we seem to have a bad habit of playing non-wingers out there (though Bellers did fine for half a season and it remains to be seen how Balotelli does if deployed there).

pends who is playing up front. If it is Tevez by himself with nobody supporting from centre midfield then I prefer to see him on the right as no point in crossing the ball in.
