Not that I ever thought of Jonny fucking Evans to be the usual Pep type of player, but if he comes , I just hope he turns out to be an outstanding success, just to read all the reactions on this forum !

Will be absolutely fucking brilliant - with so many " experts " proclaiming how they knew it was a masterstroke .

I'd have thought those of us who don't rate him will be made up he's successful. If he is it means the club is and that's all that matters really.
You'd have to be a bit of a sad **** not to think different.

Same could be said the other way round then really, all the smart "arses" that forget how they slagged him off in red but now proclaim him to be second coming of the Kaiser and the thing is we can't laugh back at them because it would mean once again we have made a transfer fuck up and had another run of poor results if he makes mistakes, it is a no win situation for some fans but if you need to laugh at fellow City fans (not experts mate, fans) to get your jollies then good luck to you.

This. I don't like the prick and I hope to the Lord Mighty on High we don't sign him, but if we do I hope he's damn good for us proves everyone wrong.

I don't " need " to laugh at anybody pal, but I don't proclaim to know everything fucking thing there is to know about every player under the sun - unlike so many on here .
