It's not too far a stretch to suggest some city fans will boo JFE. I think those are the sad ****s being referred to and I agree.

I hope those ****s stay silent.

Having thought about this signing over the past week after initially hating the idea of signing him,my main problem was that he is a United fan and ex player. The fee isn't an issue and I can't understand fans getting upset about it,it has no affect on us. Guardiola obviously wants a player with experience which I can understand given Kompany's injury record. Evans is an organiser which will be if huge benefit to us when Kompany is rested. Saying he is rubbish is wrong. Saying he will be brilliant is wrong.Is he what we need for this season?..yes.
 
Imagine the meltdown on here if he makes a mistake leading to a goal against the rags
 
Wasn't he complete dogshit at the Rags, sure he played when they got hammered off MK Dons and looked terrible, not a signing I would want but in Pep we trust and all that
 
He could be a solid player for us against weaker opposition but I fear he will be badly exposed against anyone with quality. £30m does seem remarkably steep for a player who will presumably be our fourth choice centre back. Pep can't think very highly of Mangala at all.
