Can't we do a one year loan swap, they get Mangala and we get Evans but for one year, surely we will be getting better CBs next year.

City are expected to table a new offer for Jonny Evans in the next few days and he will be sold if the £30m asking price is met. [Telegraph]

West Brom would like Eliaquim Mangala on a season-long loan after selling Jonny Evans to City. [Sun on Sunday]

The torrid time had a lot more to do with the Defense (or lack there of) than Bravo and we didn't have Ederson...we had Willy who proved to be victim to the same bad defense.I presume you disagree with the example I used in which case please let me know why he persevered with Bravo who was obviously having a torrid time.?
Thu. Totally agree

thought you'd already been thereI'd rather go for Gail Platt's minge.
What's in that deal for WBA? It's us that are in in need of another CB. Why would WBA disrupt their settled defence to loan us probably their best player, their captain no less, try and integrate a player that we don't want, only to go through the same process again next season just to help us out? You don't think Pulis and WBA love us that much do you? Can't we do a one year loan swap, they get Mangala and we get Evans but for one year, surely we will be getting better CBs next year.
Its usually a question of money. Perhaps a suitable loan fee? It might be a significant saving for us. Even if he's the best available cover for one season, at his age he's unlikely to be a long term solution. What's in that deal for WBA? It's us that are in in need of another CB.
