Not surprised you said no. It wasn't massively publicised, unlike Saint Hendo.

Sterling scored 25 goals and had 18 assists last season, despite all the sh*t he had to put up with on and off the field. He deserved that award a damn sight more than Henderson did this season.

Well he didn't get that many goals because it's just the PL, he got 17 goals and 7 assists which is still phenomenal. And yeah he certainly deserved it more than Henderson this season. Saying that, he wasn't the best player last season, it was VVD clearly, he's the one that elevated Liverpool to title contenders. Sterling was probably the 3rd or 4th best player last season, Bernardo was just that little bit better imo

First off, if Henderson beats KDB to the award this year, the world is truly broken.

I knew that there would be a thread on this - but have avoided looking for/at it - my BP could do with avoiding the subject.

Just searched for it now after watching a recording of MOTD last and hearing Shearer say that he voted for that utterly boring and limited footballer

I assume that the only good news is that at least this will help to stop the bollocks posted by those that have continued to suggest that there is not an agenda against CITY - and pro the scum and redscouse

VVD stands out as a good player because he's allowed to get away with bullying players. Level playing field and he's not that special. Put him under pressure, and he makes mistakes. Still 10 times better than Henderson though.

Mane, should have won it one of the last 3 years. Its a shame.

I just dont see Henderson as a true candidate , not when other players have outshone him even in his own team. Credit to the lad , the media like with Sterling gave him a hard time at the beginning.

I believe two of our players outshone Henderson.
