No it doesn’t, City players have only ever won the award once and that was Vinny back in 2012.Hardly a surprise.
Always goes to a player from the team that wins the league...

No surprise here. Anything Liverpool have done this season the press have been quick to bronze. They've been quick to ejaculate praise on even the most banal of performances whilst they jacked in the domestic cups and were binned from CL.

I've in no doubt Liverpool had a good season but this award is not a team award but an individuals contribution throughout the season. Kdb, Henderson, sorry, no comparison! And to cap it all off we were called cheats!

So despite our recent achievements , City players clearly do not deserve such awards . Seems about right.

I take very little notice of what the football "journalists" write.
We all know most of them know nothing and write total bollocks.
So...
Why bother ourselves over who they vote for as FOTY?
I'm more interested in who the players vote for... at least one or two of them know a little about football.
