Jorginho

Alfredo Pedulla, the same bloke who reported on Jorginho being linked with Chelsea a couple of days ago, has now said he’s Chelsea bound.

I hope the club have a decent replacement lined up, because they have massively messed this one up.

At what point would you have walked away (what price is too much). Presumably you would pay say...75 million for him. At what point does Tixki go from messing up to paying too much? Serious question to anyone who thinks we messed up. I am curious if you folks think we should just pay whatever the asking price is or if we should have a price we don't go over.

The question is.....who is the alternative? Are we getting someone as good for less? Or are we going to end up paying more for a plan B?

I thought the stumbling block was the number of payments they wanted.IIRC we wanted it spread over 4 years but they wanted it in two payments.Certain I read this on here about a week ago.

That’s fair - I guess we sit back and see what the winning bid is if he does go to Chelsea and judge from there. Possible Napoli dragged feet agreeing to fee once it seemed Sarri would land at Chelsea knowing they could get more money there.

What would be troubling is if City didn’t see this too and didn’t move on to other targets.

if he does go Chelsea it would seem his career is just a job for him ,that would be the only reason

Get that mate, but it was reported last week,I think it was all done and dusted.
If that's true, then we must of met the valuation.
It's all bullshit in my eyes......he'll be ours, hopefully.

Sure hope so mate!;) Think we'll all be glad when the transfer window shuts and we can get back to winning games!;)

No.....If we dont meet Napoli's valuation, it doesnt matter how much he wants to come. Mahrez's talks during the winter transfer window showed us that. So many things we dont know mate....maybe we've already told him we not going to meet Napoli's valuation? So his options would be to stick around in Napoli until the next transfer window, potentially take a bigger salary package from Chelsea or go on strike and hope Napoli willing to take less from us? Guess we'll find out soon enough.

That is simply not true. They have already spent 30 million of Jorginho's fee on Ruiz. Napoli is selling him this summer full stop.
