I had a pop at Txiki. I was wrong. I've admitted it. No need to insult me (because who else are you talking about).

I can be reactionary when it comes to football (thankfully not about much else) but I'm working on it.

It’s a real difficult one. Here’s a list of players I’d prefer over Jorginho.. verratti is decent and is a solid defensive option but would he leave PSG? Also Nzonzi is decent and also proven and won’t be to expensive. But most of all I’d love to see Thiago here at city because he is world class. He’s young can tackle and knows the way pep plays. Actually surprised we’ve not gone in for him as he’s a perfect fit! Would love him so much more than any other player

No reason to worry, he's just being professional. Jorginho took part in Italy presser today, so had to answer questions regarding his future. Did it in a very diplomatic fashion. Have to say I like his and his agent's behavior a lot.

If I was pep Thiago would be my main choice without a doubt.

I was talking about people online constantly moaning about Txiki and asking why transfers are done. It's all you see everywhere. It wasn't really directed at you, I don't really know who you are, with all due respect. No offence meant. Just one of my personal bug bears

I think Jorghino will do well here to tell u the truth, I also think City don't want to go big in this position, hence why no offer for the players you mentioned in Verrati & Thiago, who both would cost between £70-80m, Jorghino does at least score goals as Pep wants a DM who can do this.

Pep coached Thiago for 8 consecutive years at Barca and Bayern, brought him to Munich and immediately tried in a pivot role. It was a disaster, he's not positionally disciplined enough to play there. Used him as 8 after the initial fiasco. Thiago spent a lot of time on the bench in Pep's 3rd season at Bayern.

Thiago Alkantara isn't worldclass, not consistent enough. Besides, he had 2 consecutive ACL injuries and lots of lesser health problems. Doubt that Bayern supporters would be devastated to see him leaving.

In terms of playing in DM position Jorginho and Thiago are at different levels. Lots of sceptical posters will call Jorginho 'worldclass' in a year if he signs.

His passing range and quick one twos are brilliant, his positional sense is good, he controls the tempo of a game, iv seen him play quite abit mate, he's very good and I hope he comes here.
