I go every week pal and not for one minute would I be happy with Danilo as my 1st choice right back. Not bad for back up that’s about It. I didn’t just watch him for the last few games against Huddersfield and Brighton I watched him all season and judging him off that I wouldn’t care less if he left tommorrow that’s just my opinion. Would of preferred it if he left and Maffeo stayed if I’m being honest.

Agreed Danilo is a bang average rb

If you don’t like Bernardo, you don’t like football.

The guys control is insane.

We were talking about Jorginho a few pages back and now Stones, Danilo, Laporte, Bernardo and Gundogan are getting slagged off? How's this happened?

The only thing Maffeo has over Danilo is age. That is literally it.

Danilo is a far superior player and has had a good start to his City career.

What is all this shite about Maffeo? He played a decent league cup game last season against the Rags and people are banging on like he’s the next Cafu.

Pep obviously doesn’t rate him and neither do his coaching staff, yet Bluemoon posters who have seen him once in a reserve side practically, albeit against Trafford Rangers’s first team, do rate him, over a decent player like Danilo, who can not only defend but score - the essence of a total footballing side.

The rest of the people on here saying B. Silva hasn’t been good is embarrassing, the guy is going to be a star. He’s looked so good in the last few months and has a wand of a left foot.

Laporte has started a good amount of tricky games and looked very good for a foreign defender making his first half season in the PL and Gundogan well, he can be hit and miss at times but he’s a very good squad player for us and when he’s good he’s brilliant.

Stones looked mint until the injury this season and until October was first defender on the team sheet for me.

I’m not one of the those City fans who thinks everyone is amazing, I’m heavily critical sometimes but some people are just clowns when it comes to not giving players any chance at all or not giving them any credit whatsoever.

This!!

My mate who plays at a pretty decent standard and supports Forest,so no bias, absolutely loves him. He’s always banging on about his first touch, saying it’s the best in the PL.

His left foot is so powerful for a little guy too.

What has Laporte done so far to be termed an excellent signing? He hasn't proven anything yet.
Ofcourse we broke all records but neither Laporte nor B.Silva played a huge part in it.
U really are a comedian Bernardo played his part for sure the title was already won when Laporte joined but still would say he’s gonna he great just by watching the very few appearances he’s made. He’s gonna be a great defender for us same said about Bernardo he’s class 2

Can you even read what I wrote? Have I ever said they won't be good in the coming years? I am talking about NOW, not 2-3 years time.

Danilo is nothing but average

I'm with you but I also like Gundogan too!
I think both city fans and Pep have seen Gündogan when he was playing much better, back in 14-15 with Dortmund. Still a v good player, just not at the same level, that game at home against Dortmund when Joe Hart kept us in it, possibly one of the best performances I have seen against us in the six odd years we have been in the Cl

Bookmarked too many posts about him already and he doesn't need 2-3 years to be one of the best in the league.

Couldn’t agree more, they were brilliant that night and he was at the heart of it all. He may never be as dynamic as he was then but still a lovely player, great pro and Pep’s fond of him for a reason .. we’re lucky to have him in my opinion.

Imagine thinking a player who played in almost every game and started near half of them didn't play a huge part in our title win. Embarrassing.
