2nd this.I disagree. Look at Foden. Pep has been imploring him to learn to play with different rhythms and not be direct all the time for the past 3 years or so and there's still been no change from Foden so far hence why pep still cannot trust him to play midfield for city. Some players just have a tendency to be very direct and intense like Foden, KDB etc... From what I've seen bellingham is of that mould.
England right now does not have a modric or verratti who can dictate the game from start to finish which is what we desperately need. That's why Paul Scholes was THE english midfielder that pep singled out for praised amongst your gerrards and lampards because unlike them he had that ability to dictate tempo like your spanish and italian midfielders.
It is the nature it cannot be taught. I have no objections to buy Bellingham. But if he comes and if Pep insists on at least one attacking midfield with tempo sense, I would image Pep has decided that Foden future is winger. I cannot see a Foden Bellingham midfield with a lot of control. But I may be wrong...
