Figured worth a thread. Very likely name dropping us to aid his contract negotiations BUT this news comes out shortly after rumors that Newcastle have offered Tino Livramento improved terms on a 6-year deal and aren't open to selling him... Confirmed by Ty Marshall.

We could solve a lot of their financial issues with a 100m offer for this lad. Biggest issue here would be convincing him to leave Barcelona for Manchester. Clearly top level RB/CB hybrid. City maybe looking to make a big splash to match the other elite prem sides ambitions. Worth noting we are not betting favorites to win the PL title this season for the first time in many years. We're actually third.

Lastly, save the pipe dream comments. We all know this would be surprising, but we've got cash burning a hole in our pocket and maybe the lad wants a change of scenery with his mate Cherki.

I just don't know how much Barca would want. This also reads like him trying to leverage Barca

You talk as if £100m is a trivial amount. It’s not. It is very, very substantial and I would be gutted if we’re, in your words, helping to solve their financial issues by offering such. I couldn’t give a fuck about their dilemma, I’d lowball them to help them out.
If they can afford bignose they can’t be struggling

Agreed. I'd say £50m would hugely help their financial situation, so try that.
 
is this one of those where because they just gave Marcus Rashford £325k a week they cannot give Kounde what he wants so they will look to sell him, all the while still saying a contract extension can be met so that his value is still high and it doesn't look like they are happy to move him on.

Absolutely zero chance. Though I suspect his versatility (right back and centre back) is something that appeals to City.

After all, we did want him before we moved for Dias!

Does anybody seriously believe that Barca are paying that cunts salary ?

The rags propaganda team have been very busy trying to turd polish the situation caused by Rashford's arrogance allied to limited ability, and all due to their own incompetence in having paid him the salary in the first instance.

What the fuck do Barca nee d the **** for seriously ?
