I know not to dicuss the case anywhere or with anyone other than in the deliberating room.
as for the expenses. I'm self employed.
I was wondering if I could take in a bag of crips and some sarnies to eat whilst in court ?
Any suggestions what filling I should have.

You can't go wrong with a chicken salad barm, and plain ready salted crisps.
Or why not surprise your fellow jurors and order an Indian takeaway for everyone during the summing up?
Although that may be seen as rather tactless if it's a deportation hearing.

Why not use the time in court to experiment with your lunchbox?

Take a book or some way to entertain yourself. It can be days before you get put on a Jury. I did it earlier this year and sat there in the waiting room in uncomfortable chairs for 5 days before I got on a Jury. I got through about 4 books in that time but my god was it dull.
