Pretty sure the free scarf sent out a few seasons ago was mainly sky blue with maroon and white narrow stripes. Nothing like the one on ebay.

Can't remember ever seeing that scarf at a City game. Looks like a Villa or West Ham 2nd team colours scarf to me.

I had a white scarf with thin bars of red/black/red or black/red/black on it, there was also a royal blue version with red/white bars when the blue with red/white stripe was one of our away kits.

That isn't a City scarf. Even the description of the colours says claret. West Ham.
