We're 1 point ahead of Spurs going into the game against them on May 5th. Imagine the celebrations if we score a winning goal and knowing we'll be 4 points ahead and it's Champions' League football next season. It will feel amazing celebrating that winning goal. Hopefully the players will feel the same and will be desperate to make it happen.

If If If, this thread would make sense if the results had been a bit kinder, personally i am taking 1 game at a time now, with buried inside me, the hope were not more than 2 points behind spuds when we play them

can't see that exact scenario happening. It would have to mean that we beat both Arsenal and Villa with Spurs losing to United. They will thump Bolton at WHL. Can't see them dropping points at home to Bolton or a Burnley team that has already been relegated.

I can't see us being ahead of Spurs at Kick off either, but Bolton at home wont necessarily be a pushover for Spurs. And I wouldn't rule Burnley out either. They beat Hull recently, and only lost 2-1 at Sunderland. They could still be in it on the last day, and even if they are not they wont want to lose their last premiership game

If we beat Spurs we shouldn't have to worry what other clubs do, but it would make the game a lot easier to win, if we had the advantage going into it. Can't really see that happening

Thinking this way broke my heart on the weekend. It's a cliche but also a truism that its one game at a time for the next 4

Ireland to score winner, just to shut some people up :)
I can actually see that happening to be honest. Would love to see him whip out the superman pants again. But going from this season so far it would be Carlos to score the crucial goal for us.

I don`t think that Arsenal will want to see Spurs qualify for the Champs league. With their title hopes over I hope Wenger throws a couple of kids in and that the players aren`t too motivated. I can also see Liverpool losing against Chelsea. No way that Gerrard and co. will want to see the scum overtake them with league titles won.
