Yes, Simmo was put through and lobbed the keeper at the City end.

Thanks, I'd forgotten how the goal came but you're right - thanks to the splendid history section on this site, I've tracked down the goals. David Phillips put us into the lead with a header, they levelled and Simmo won it for us late on. Great stuff!

Copper came onto the coach, welcomed us to Portsmouth and said we'd be kept behind after the game. Someone asked ''how long'' and the reply was ''depends if you win or not''.
We were kept back for over an hour and escorted to our coaches
