Having watched our game against them from earlier on in the season and Wigan's demolition of them the other day they have a few holes.

Clichy/Richards played against them at our place and they tore them a new one down the wings. Their fullbacks tuck inside and we sprayed passes wide and both Richards and Clichy were able to run down the flanks and get good crosses in. Micah scored a good goal and got a penalty in that game.

Wigan did the same and spread the play quickly from the middle to down the flanks and Newcastle got torn to shreds. They don't seem to play well against teams that pass and move quickly.

I'm confident Gael + Micah/Zabba will have a lot of joy which will open up holes for Silva,Kun and Nasri to get into. Set pieces we need to be careful and also keep an eye on Ben Arfa running at our back 4. Kompany will keep Cisse quiet and Ba has been quiet of late so Joleon can keep an eye on him.

You got a link for that game mate?

Shitting it, my heart says Tevez to score early doors to settle us down, 3-1

My head has no idea how we'll stop Cisse with some 30 yard wonder strike. Hopefully he was getting it out of his system last night.

I'm not. Big pitch and at home. They will come at us. We'll pick them off with clinical counter attacking.

Believe.

Lads we are quality, barcodes will be shitting it. Of course it's tough, but the rags was a tougher match and in reality we strolled it. Expect the same.

Good point, which will probably be in our favour; Aguero, Tevez, Nasri, Silva. Quick passing, fast breaks, i think Newcastle's defence is weak if we can isolate it (it's great when Guitierez et al get back and help)

I was more confident about the derby than this game, but that's probably for a number of reasons!

Yup I have a feeling counter attacking may be the only way, they will want it too.

We just need to keep remembering, its Newcastle.... but the derby on monday has hardly any significance compared to this! WE ARE CITY, SUPER CITY!

They will commit men forward, I hope we will be very compact when we don't have the ball and look to break on counter to exploit their defence.

If both sides counter attack well, this could be an exciting end-to-end match like the Arsenal league game at the Etihad.

Please no. That game was only great in hindsight. With a title at stake I'l honestly collapse.

No end-to-end match for you eh? I agree, I'd have a heart attack.

Well let's hope we snuff out their counters early like we did to United, however, you can be sure they'll be looking to break whenever possible...but we will as well.

Like I said though, if both sides counter attack well (Newcastle are good at this), this match WILL be end to end.
