Edinburgh was taken to hospital on Monday after falling "ill unexpectedly" and had been in Madrid for the Champions League final two days before. Edinburgh, who won the FA Cup with Spurs as a player, led Orient to the National League title this season as well as the FA Trophy final. He had previously managed Northampton Town, Gillingham and Newport County.
