Juve away

We’ve all been to European away games where ticket checks were going to happen, but when 3000 City fans turn up at the last minute after drinking all day, those ticket checks melt away when there are 1000’s City fans outside the away end pushing to get in before kick off. From the pictures Juventus was no different apart from the ticket checks were still carried out.

That happened at Schalke away. In the end the Police, Schalke, and stewards let the City fans in without ticket checks, as the area outside the away end was packed full of City fans, pushing forward, shouting, and chanting.

Enjoyed the trip overall. Good setting with the stadium and the snow on the mountains in the background.

Made the mistake of getting the bus escort pre-match after the text sent out. The 6pm planned time that set off at 6.55pm. Corrected that mistake by getting a normal bus when let out after the game. Far easier and quicker.
