Juventus accuse UEFA of anti-Italy agenda

Well, strange. It was penalty, and I didn't saw the match but I was told that a Madrid goal was wrongly outruled as outside.

A lot of crying in Juventus part.

Looked like a pen.

Wonder if it would have been given if it was Sterling or Aguero on the receiving end of such a foul in similar circumstances...??

There was a push on Sterling in the box this week that wasn't given that was more a penalty than last night. Vasquez was already on his way down before any contact occurred and if there was any contact it wasn't enough to send the guy flying like he did. A highly dubious call IMO especially when you consider the stonewall penalties not given to us this season

its only a stone wall pen at madrid and uefa and the officials have set the boundaries with the so called super clubs if in doubt you give it to them there is no 50/50 when going to them so called super clubs. the dirty world of uefa and there rules set by board members of the super clubs and the power they have is bent and shocking and they say and ask why we boo. would united madrid barca munich ever get fine of £49million and player reduction for so called FFP rules hahaha never. manchester city are pissing in the wind if they really think we can win the champions league even with pep at the helm they are hell bent on stopping us

We just need to create a team so fucking good even cheating can't stop us.

Juventus president Andrea Agnelli claims Michael Oliver 'completely lost control' of Champions League tie with Real Madrid and accuses UEFA of pushing anti-Italy agenda in Europe

Players make mistakes, so do referees, but this official completely lost control of the situation. A referee in Madrid for the quarter-final must have seen the first leg, realise the Dybala red card was excessive and understand the various situations.

'The referee tonight was in total chaos. It's a pity, the performance of the boys remains, we confirmed – as did PSG last season and Roma last night – proved you can come back from 3-0 down to turn things around.

The referee tonight, when he sees it back, will be the most disappointed person here to realise what happened.'

Agnelli went on to suggest that Pierluigi Collina, the UEFA chief in charge of assigning refs to Champions League matches, was so keen to prove that the organisation were not corrupt in favour of Italian sides that he has been deliberately placing anti-Italian officials in charge of Juventus, Roma and Milan fixtures.

'I see a series of countries that implemented VAR and I saw incidents that went against Italian clubs recently, such as the foul on (Juventus winger Juan) Cuadrado, Milan at Arsenal and Juve tonight, proving we absolutely need VAR in the Champions League.

'This isn't about one or two points, but rather going forward in a massive tournament that brings so much money and prestige, we can't allow these incidents to occur.

'For some reason, the vanity of the refereeing designator is trying to scientifically prove he is unbiased and keeps assigning referees who are against Italian clubs.

'It's not Juve, but Roma had penalties denied against Barcelona, Milan went out of the Europa League with Arsenal, us tonight. If it's a technical problem because UEFA don't have good enough referees, we can offer to help train them.'

Easily sorted......let's have VAR. not sure it wasn't a pen but allowing Oliver the chance to look at incident from all angles would have done no one any harm and allowed him and players a little thinking time......VAR please

How come a club like Juve has the balls to call UEFA out after their match fixing and referee bribing of recent times and no one pipes up from our club?
To be fair, Pep pretty much called that referee corrupt after the game. But yeah, I'd like to see them coming out and calling UEFA what they are.

That's the point, Juve are known for being corrupt yet are bold enough to complain, we don't have a controversial history like Juve, so we should be bold enough to put out a statement on the poor officiating we have suffered every season in the UCL.
The whole thing reeks of match fixing......er, WTF
