Linked to Chelsea for £22m, and Harry talking about making one big signing that could make the difference in January

Would like to see Kaka in the Premiership, but not at City.

dont think we need Kaka could be a disruptive influence ala Joe & Robhinio. I remember George Graham saying never sign anyone who thinks their bigger than the club -he had his chance. what we need now is young talented hungry players that can be moulded into the club men of the future.

Am I right in thinking that adebayour is still getting half his wages payed by city?
If so why is harry talking about a big signing ,start paying the full hot on him if you have money it's a fuckin joke.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if this was the "big" signing that the papers keep talking about in Jan for the spuds.

Don't think he would be right for us, maybe 3 years ago he would have been ideal but we have moved on now.

ANY team who have players on loan with subsidised wages should have a transfer ban until they pay the full wage of the loaned player.
its a joke anyone can talk about shelling out millions, when those miilions are owed in liu to a loaned players wage !!!

This

past it, just be another lampard, drogba e.t.c if chelsea really want to compete they need to get rid of all the old dead wood and start again buying new young players.

I wouldn't lump Drogba in there, yet. He can still get it done and is a load up front.

Not for us.

Besides, we couldn't have Kaka, Kolo and Yaya in the same team. That would be taking the piss! Sounds like a team of clowns!

Hahaha this is funny!

Kolo, Kaka, Yaya and AJ, Cuthbert, Dibble and Alan. I used to love Trumpton and so I can't wait to hear our new entrance theme at the stadium.

Would love to see him in a City shirt still, but on loan. The guy is class, but if I use my head and not my heart then it's not the right move for us right now. He may not settle, damaging both our season and his own career.

Still, if he'd been on the bench at West Brom then to see him come on for Nasri or AJ to try and unlock the defence... nothing ventured...

Usually seems off the pace when he plays for Real and this is often against wank teams that bend over for Real worse than Wigan and friends bend over for the Rags. Occasionally you see flashes of his old brilliance but no consistency in that, I would not take a gamble on Kaka anymore when players like Gotze, Reus, Hazard, Lucas (Sao Paulo), Ganso, and Eriksen are up for grabs.

You could argue the flip side of the coin, any club loaning a player they can't sell should also have a ban.

We've done the business on this, we are happy Spurs have him, it suits our plans, it's not Ade's fault. Skill wise Ade's miles better than the "Lamp Post", but the latter fits into Bobby's plans more (personality, conflicts etc), Ade doesn't, and it is as simple as that. Such is life!!

Very few clubs could afford his wages unless RM subsidised them as part of a sale. I highly doubt he'd go to Spurs with that sort of pay drop and doubt RM would subsidise that much. The ones that could afford them, Us, Chelsea and rags wouldn't want him mainly due to age although Chelsea is a possibility if Roman interferes. Maybe a 6 month loan to the rags has some potential?

I can see him going back to Italy to one of either AC, Inter or Juventus on a low transfer fee but keeping his wages up.

Absolutely right mate - we'd always know he came to us for the wrong reasons.
So that ends this thread....................
