Whether it be 73m or 100m i really think we can better spend that money elsewhere. I'm not denying he is a very special player BUT he is just one player, for the 100m we are talking about we could get a few world class players. Ribery/Silva/Villa etc etc- could get any 2 of those for less than £70m.

Could you imagine if Kaka turned into a flop......it could happen .....english game could be too quick or simply he may get injured!?

We'd like Kaka, but we do not need Kaka at a ridiculously over inflated price.

£100million is a ridiculous amount of money and if Chelsea want him then go for it. Personally i think there is no way Roman will pay that much but i may be proved wrong....time will tell.

As for irons in the fire, i can see our transfer dealings been finished by the pre-season training starting. Reckon we have them lined up ready to close down and Hughes wants a full pre-season to get the team together.
