Kalidou Koulibaly

Fucken hell, we should've gone for the greek god. He is younger than Kouli!

Edit: actually no, he's 32 :D

No way this is true.

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if its the Messi factor.

Players will push much harder for moves to play with him, I think it will be a massive card up our sleeve when it's time to replace Aguero (assuming he doesn't stay as long as Messi).
Being able to say “I was good enough to play with Lionel messi” would be a huge factor for any player. Not many more seasons left to do it in either. Such prestige to be in that club and build a relationship with the GOAT

Hard to be too happy with Messi signing if we haven't had our defense sorted out. We're an Ake/Laporte injury away from relying on 35 yo Fernandinho or, god-forbid, Stones. Assuming Ota and Garcia are out the door.

Yep I for one will only have a cheeky smirk but will refrain from a full smile if messi signs without the defence being sorted.

Really hope we can get this sorted soon. CB is a huge priority for us. This is the transfer we should be putting all our effort into right now.
