Players will push much harder for moves to play with him, I think it will be a massive card up our sleeve when it's time to replace Aguero (assuming he doesn't stay as long as Messi).

Being able to say “I was good enough to play with Lionel messi” would be a huge factor for any player. Not many more seasons left to do it in either. Such prestige to be in that club and build a relationship with the GOATGenuinely wouldn't be surprised if its the Messi factor.

Hard to be too happy with Messi signing if we haven't had our defense sorted out. We're an Ake/Laporte injury away from relying on 35 yo Fernandinho or, god-forbid, Stones. Assuming Ota and Garcia are out the door.
