Relax blue, it’ll get sortedHard to be too happy with Messi signing if we haven't had our defense sorted out. We're an Ake/Laporte injury away from relying on 35 yo Fernandinho or, god-forbid, Stones. Assuming Ota and Garcia are out the door.

These kind of things always sound great in theory in pre-season. Then the season starts and we wish we'd bought the world class defender that we spent the last 12 months crying out for.The longer this goes on the more I'd rather we saved the cash and promoted Tosin instead.

Maybe so but Laporte, Ake, Tosin and Ferna is still an upgrade on what we had last season.
