What a pile of horseshit. We haven’t signed a “dud” to the first team since Mendy and he only became a dud through injury and sexual crimes.

We get more signings right than any top club and I believe Phillips will be yet another good signing.

Personally I think a fair few names in their haven't been flops, As you said it's all about opinions no harm in disagreeing that's what forums are for.

Grealish will come good I'm sure of that next season is his time to shine, It always takes a year to settle under Pep. Ake is a very good player he is just unfortunate to have players like Laporte, Stones and Dias ahead of him. He did play a huge part in the title win this season he was magnificent when called upon.
Bravo as a back up keeper single handedly won us a couple of league cups with his performances.
Otamendi is another played huge parts in our title wins.
Negredo was fabulous up top with Sergio and Dzeko the season we won the league.

The rest I'd say have been bad signings. It's vert rare we get it wrong over the last few years. Pity Jovetic couldn't stay fight definitely a seriously talent on his day.

I hope someone does a Alexis Sanchez, Jorginho, Fred or Maguire on us and gazump our efforts of signing him only for us to sign a far superior player afterwards. A win win.

Transfers like this are the reason that the footy community devalues the success of city and pep. The " CFG Imperium", the academy or the scoutingnetwork should be able to produce a cheaper backup for Rodri. For instance Lavia could be trusted to play the games in the fa/carabao cup or even unimportant CL matches (like away game in Leipzig in the last campaign).
