Decent 45 or so mins from him today I thought
Did what was needed. Covered the ground after those ten mins.Took 10 to settle then grew into it. Didn’t let anyone down today. Knows he’s starting Weds so needs to kick on
Well, he looked lost when he came on but now he has 3 games to shine. It is make or break time.
How long are we gonna keep pretending?Keep the faith and he’ll prove to be an asset

He was ok. He did some good things and some sloppy things. It is pretty obvious that some are watching him with a view to highlighting every error but we cannot have 22 superstars. He'll get the chance in some cup games and, hopefully, he will grow in confidence and ability because the fact is that he is staying, and we may well need him to.
And the same posters will continue to find fault and try and be their usual smartarse selves - so predictable .
So far on this forum anyone who criticises a player is a know nothing, part time supporter. Phillips wil not be here in the next 18 months, he's a decent footballer but footballers find their level and Phillips has surpassed his, leeds, Everton, West ham, Fulham are his level in my opinion, not Manchester City. I've seen some dross since 1984 so am in a position to speak on this as a suffering city fan, then the glory years. As long as my arse points down and theirs some knob heads on this site he will not make it in THIS team. 15yrs ago he'd be the best player in the team, he isn't quick enough in foot or thought to make it now. Nunes has come in (I didn't rate him at wolves) and looks like he's played here for ages, Phillips looks like he won a competition.

Seriously doubt it in the PL, nothing suggests that will happen.
It was interesting he was brought on today, but we were 2 up with few options.
Feel for the lad - hope he gets a full 90 midweek and shows what he's about
