stunned, dazed and still can't quite believe it!!
Following on from the 'boyband thread' i wondered if any other budding crooners were out there and if so what do you like trying your hand at and what would you really love to have a go at?

Once i've got up and had a go i usually don't stop, initial embarrassment over with so just keep going, favourites of mine include;

Artic Monkeys- Mardy bum.
Smiths- This charming man.
Morrisey- First of the gang.
Paulo Ntini- 10/10.
Coldplay- Viva la vida.
Divine comedy - National express.
Spandau Ballet- Gold.
Oasis- Masterplan plus almost any other.
Stereophonics-Dakota or Handbags and glad rags.
Billy Joel-Piano man and Scenes from an Italian restaurant.
Barry Manilow- Copacobanna.

Ones i'd love to try;

Killers- Mr Brightside, not sure why i haven't yet.
Shed seven- Bully boy.
Stereophonics- A thousand trees.
Paulo Ntini- Pencil full of lead.

Highlight was in 2012, just after we'd won the title, about 30 of us in the Algarve for a mates stag do, got up and sang Hey Jude and all the lads were joining in, blues and reds when i changed the lyrics to Nana Nana City, and threw a few Yaya Toures in there, rags singing along for a few seconds until their dummies all came out.

So come on you warbling bluemooners, what's your favourites?

Awaits @Magicpole to say he'd walk 500 miles

Life is a web spun of ghosts dreams and illusions.
Cracking night out is karaoke and soon to peruse all that the Black Chicken has to offer. Breathings a bit Donald Ducked at the moment so am currently excerising my vocal chords with this very informative video covering pitch and range to pull off a reasonable performance. After every rep it's very important to gargle with a sterile solution, on a personal level I think that Gin works best.

You get out of it what you put in so if you want a few partially worn knickers flinging your way then practise makes perfect. At the start of an evening I don't think you can go much wrong with Bobby Darrin

Mac The Knife.

After a few more scoops a quick metamorph into Cliff with this slick track being a guaranteed Old Lady Killer ..
especially if you throw in a few nifty dance moves!

Cliff and I just Dont Have the Heart

This last tracks a must for errant warblers by working your audience into a lathered frenzy : /

Smash it Tony West!

And the music played
In the Penny Arcade
Yes, it played and it played
Played all the time
Roll up and spend your last
Roll up and spend your last
Roll up and spend your last dime !!
