Following on from the 'boyband thread' i wondered if any other budding crooners were out there and if so what do you like trying your hand at and what would you really love to have a go at?
Once i've got up and had a go i usually don't stop, initial embarrassment over with so just keep going, favourites of mine include;
Artic Monkeys- Mardy bum.
Smiths- This charming man.
Morrisey- First of the gang.
Paulo Ntini- 10/10.
Coldplay- Viva la vida.
Divine comedy - National express.
Spandau Ballet- Gold.
Oasis- Masterplan plus almost any other.
Stereophonics-Dakota or Handbags and glad rags.
Billy Joel-Piano man and Scenes from an Italian restaurant.
Barry Manilow- Copacobanna.
Ones i'd love to try;
Killers- Mr Brightside, not sure why i haven't yet.
Shed seven- Bully boy.
Stereophonics- A thousand trees.
Paulo Ntini- Pencil full of lead.
Highlight was in 2012, just after we'd won the title, about 30 of us in the Algarve for a mates stag do, got up and sang Hey Jude and all the lads were joining in, blues and reds when i changed the lyrics to Nana Nana City, and threw a few Yaya Toures in there, rags singing along for a few seconds until their dummies all came out.
So come on you warbling bluemooners, what's your favourites?
Awaits @Magicpole to say he'd walk 500 miles
